PVD-2022

What could be better than spending the day at East Woods with your child? Perhaps spending the day at East Woods and then getting to play against the JV and Varsity teams! On Tuesday, November 8th, parents joined their students for the special tradition of Parents Visiting Day. This is a day full of smiles, learning, and a bit of healthy competition. The parents of our students are invited to enjoy a light breakfast, followed by select student performances, before heading into the classrooms to walk in their children's footsteps.

This year we were treated to a preview of our Winter Concert as the Advanced Band performed "Acadia March" by Terry White and a sneak peek at the Fifth Grade play Rock of Ages, set to perform on December 9th for the community. And, of course, we must remember the traditional Kindergarten meteorology report before the performances.

As always, our teachers went out of their way to create fun and engaging crafts and lessons for students and parents during the classroom visits. Teachers can convey important information about their teaching and how well the students learn. The day wraps up with a BBQ and soccer games for our Upper School students and visitors. (We, of course, root for our students!)
